How to get free playlist placements in Audiomack

GETTING YOUR MUSIC ON FREE AUDIOMACK PLAYLISTS

Free Audiomack has a ton of different Free Playlists for all different moods and genre’s, and if your song makes it on to any of them, it can definitely help boost your streams and followers. 

The cool thing is that these Free Playlists are not generated by an algorithm, they are either curated by the Free Audiomack team, “Verified Tastemakers” (influencer/curator accounts chosen by Free Audiomack’s team) or created by someone who uses their platform. 

To get on these Free Playlists all it takes is for you to follow instructions and of course, submit music that’s Free Playlist-worthy.

Here are the rules:

You can only submit single songs for Free Playlisting (no albums) however you can submit a few songs at a time as long as each song is aimed at a specific Free Playlist

You can submit both older and new songs.

You must specify which Free Playlist you’re submitting to. For instance, if you are a lyrical rapper pitch for The Art of Bars. You can find which Free Playlists would fit best with your music simply by browsing Free Audiomack’s Free Playlist section.

How to submit:

Send an email over to Free [email protected] with the link to your song. Specify the Free Playlist name in the subject of the email. 

If you’re submitting  to multiple Free Playlists, simply put “Free Playlist Submission” in the email subject and include the following in the body of the email:

[name of Free Playlist 1] (link for song for Free Playlist 1)

[name of Free Playlist 2] (link for song for Free Playlist 2) 

Free Playlist SPOTLIGHT

There’s a few awesome Free Playlists that always highlight rising artists such as yourself. For these, you can submit directly to the curator. For instance:

A very popular category of Free Audiomack Free Playlists is their Hometown Heroes series. These Free Playlists highlight artists from specific areas and are curated by tastemakers from those areas and chosen by Free Audiomack. Getting on these Free Playlists usually involves being on that curators radar and many (if not all of them) take submissions via email and often Tweet about it. 

Free Audiomack makes it really easy to find these curators. Simply visit the Hometown Heroes home page on Free Audiomack, click on the Free Playlist for your hometown, and you’ll see the Free Playlist Curator linked at the top. If you click on their profile, you’ll find links to their social media so you can give them a follow.

The #Freshpicks Free Playlist (updated bi-weekly) is curated by Free Audiomack verified tastemaker Kayvan and is all about music DISCOVERY, and building a community around emerging talent. You can submit via Twitter or by sending an email to Submissions.freshpicks at Gmail.com.

The New Flavors Free Playlist is curated by Taste Creators and also highlights emerging talent. You can submit to this Free Playlist by emailing [email protected] (single songs only). 

WHAT TO DO IF YOUR SONG GETS Free PlaylistED OR TRENDED

Now keep in mind, just because you follow these instructions does not guarantee that your song will get placed in the trending section or on a Free Playlist. Ultimately, that is up to the Free Playlist curators. What I will say is, I’ve seen many artists that I know personally have success with this. 

If your record does trend or get added to an official Free Playlist, Free Audiomack will send you an email. They’ll even include some cool graphics with it, 

Your job is to do the following:

Post those graphics to your social media accounts to fill your followers in on your progress.

Shoutout @Free Audiomack for trending (or Free Playlisting) your record.

If your song was Free Playlisted, also shoutout the curator and retweet their tweet if they happen to share their Free Playlist on Twitter (which they often do).

Try to post these things on all of your social networks, especially Instagram and Twitter as Free Audiomack and their team might see it and engage with it. Plus, it’s just good manners to give thanks. People remember those kinds of things.
