Who are you?
I am a contemporary Zimbabwean rapper, singer, and songwriter pioneering a sub-genre I call "Soulful Shona-Trap." My style blends the hard-hitting sonic elements of modern trap production with deeply introspective, melodic storytelling in both Shona and English. I use my music to address real-life struggles, resilience, and mental health, drawing from personal experiences to connect deeply with the youth. I'm also proud to balance my creative life with my work as a qualified Class 3 Automobile Electrician. From my debut album 'Pray Hard' to my latest work, I make music for the hustlers and the thinkers who respect authentic, structured artistry.
Where are you from?
I was born in Bulawayo and raised in Harare, Zimbabwe, proudly holding it down in Budiriro 2. The music scene here is incredibly vibrant, raw, and full of hungry talent, but it is also a space where independent artists have to hustle hard to get their structures right. While Zimbabwe is heavily known for traditional sounds and Zim hip hop , there is a powerful new wave of urban music breaking through.
