Who are you?
I'm the most human artist you will ever find. I'm just a guy making his way through the world, living the "child of immigrants" experience and trying to make a name for myself anyway I can. But I know the game I decided to come into, and I know what power these words have. All I want to be is the absolute best I can be. I look at the people who have done it before me, the people who are doing it at the same time as me, and the people that I look up to but want to eventually rival, and learn about how I can get to that level. I don't want to rush to the plate. I want to create the greatest network of artists that the world has ever seen, to bring back the vision behind the personality and the press face, and to tell stories that will live forever.
As for my actual music, I'm a rapper with an affection for experimental production, beat switches, rock guitars, and, above all, a story. I'm an album artist, and I like to create songs that tell my story in an attempt to relate to everyone that may be listening.
Where are you from?
I'm from Long Island, New York, where music has always been a really central part of the culture here but rap music is only beginning to bubble into the surface. The scene here is very underground, but there are many diamonds in the rough- genre fusion is normal, and people from all walks of life will share a stage and a few drinks at local bars and small show venues. It's the place with the biggest amount of artistic potential right now, you have a bunch of kids who grew up in the Internet age listening to the best music ever created, and they mostly have the money or the resources to start replicating and creating their own music. It's what happened to me. And I'm sure it's happened to many, many people out here. It's the next big hub, and if I have anything to do with it, it'll be home to some of the greatest talents the world has ever seen.
