Who are you?
I [Keveen Badouin] started music at an early age then it became quickly obvious I was going to spend my life pursuing it. My brother was probably the one that sparked my interest in playing as I was hearing a lot of exciting music he was listening coming from his room when I was 7-8 years old.
CARRÉ started right before the pandemic and it's been a concept I had in mind with my 2 bandmates for a couple of years. Our first show was this year but we releases during the Covid era a few singles/video and our first self-titled EP. The project is a surrealistic reflection on the world and can cover numerous subjects with some sort of angular approach. Our new release "Brothers" is an allegory for climate change and how we need to take care of each other before it's too late. We are still working on a new sound, new music; we have 2 other new songs that aren't out yet that will come out in the next few months then we'll probably start putting a full length record together after that.
Where are you from?
I [Keveen Badouin] was born and raised in the south of France. I spend my adult life in Paris playing music, doing sessions here and there. Finally I moved to the US (Chicago first then Los Angeles) in order to pursue my artistic views and joined a few different bands. After some years, I found a community that keeps growing and that allows me to be creative within other bands and starting my own at the same time. It's a beautiful journey full of surprises and I try to keep my head up in order to focus on what's coming to make the best of it.
How can we follow you?
