I’d describe myself as real, man. I don’t make music to sound like anybody else, I make music to feel something, to make people feel me.
I’m not chasing hits, I’m telling my truth. Sometimes it’s pain, sometimes it’s love, sometimes it’s war, but it’s always honest. I talk about what I see, what I live, what my people go through. That’s what makes it bigger than rap.
Where are you from?
I’m from Nigeria, born where hustle is the first language. The music scene out here is wild, electric. You hear every sound : Afrobeats, trap, drill, soul, all blending together. Everybody’s hungry, everybody’s building something from nothing. You can feel the competition in the air, but there’s also a lot of love. Big shoutout to all the artists putting in work, the producers in their rooms cooking heat with no sleep
