Who are you?
I grew up in Houston playing drums and marching band, which I went on tour for and got an education degree in. I tried to teach music but lost my way and ended up quitting everything and taking a job at Best Buy, then Enterprise. At my lowest I realized what I wanted to do which is write and perform music. That's the only way I can be happy. I am teaching private lessons and writing full time, and I've never been happier grinding every day to find my audience to write for.
Where are you from?
I live in South Dallas, and right now the music scene is building back up from Covid! I moved from Houston where open mic nights were accessible on any given Tuesday night. Here it looks to be the same, and I'm ready to start finding the same types of places again!
