..I'm a musician/ producer in Detroit. Out here it's pretty much hip hop and Trap now. There are bands, but Mi.'s just a different thing. A lot of showcases, and every venue wants to act like they're upscale and exclusive, have high covers, high bar prices and high draw demand.
